Al’s passion for painting came at an early age but fell by the wayside, when as a teenager, he discovered music. After many years in home décor and advertising in both radio and television Al retired and once again immersed himself in Photo-Art, Acrylic and Watercolor, with an affinity for “la lune” After a disastrous attempt to save a suicidal turtle that led to a knee injury, Al became affectionately know by friends and family as The Snapping Turtle and his photography of local landscapes were on display at the local Farmers market until the pandemic shut things down. His years in television sparked an interest in digital photo manipulation and restoration and he’s the go to guy if you have a damaged or vintage photo that needs repair.
