OCTOBER ARTISTS – NATASHA GENEVIEVE

Instagram - Natasha Genevieve Webpage - Natasha Genevieve

DESCRIPTION:

Natasha Genevieve – October 1-31, 2021
Join us Saturday afternoon, October 2, 12-3pm at Hibernation Arts.

More Info:

Natasha Genevieve was born and raised in northern Ontario. She studied Art and Art History at the University of Toronto and Sheridan College, with a focus on painting and printmaking. After graduating from university, Natasha managed a small art studio in Calgary Alberta before returning to her home province and settling in Orillia.

Natasha is passionate about exploring her natural surroundings and creating art. Her landscape paintings and prints are heavily influenced by the places she has explored. Natasha loves to use bold colours, mixed mediums and expressive brushstrokes while creating new art and often collaborates on pieces with her fellow artists. For Natasha, painting is more about the therapeutic process rather than the outcome. This therapeutic element of her art is a central theme she brings to every new piece she creates, and a value she holds dear.
